While progress towards equal rights for the LGBTQ+ community has significantly progressed over the past few decades, members of that community still face several dangers and roadblocks specific to them. By implementing legislation that will increase protections from employment discrimination, housing discrimination, parenting rights, and hate crimes, we can continue the strides for equality made since the Stonewall Uprising many years ago.
